A very fine antique 19th Century Persian kard dagger.  This dagger would make an important addition to any collection.

This Persian kard dagger has a wootz (watered) steel blade.  The moss agate handle is decorated with gold.  The gold inscription translates to 'Allah is the creator'. 

This dagger appears to have been a museum piece--note the exhibit number on the handle.  

This dagger measures 36.2 cm (14 1/4").  The blade measures 23.2 cm (9 1/8").  

This Ottoman kard is in exceptional condition!
